April Wrap Up!

I read one book this month! One of my reading goals for the year is to take my time reading books I definitely did that this month! Although, I only read one book I actually started a few books this month! The book I read this month was Wishful Drinking by Carrie Fisher I rated it 4 out of  5 Stars! In other news I recently purchased a second Kindle!!! I got a Fire HD 6! It's more portable which basically means i'll be reading a lot more in May! :) In April I acquired two new books! The first one is ....Me Before You by Jojo Moyes!!! I have wanted to pick this book up for a while and I finally got it!!! The second and final book I got this month is The Revised Fundamentals of Caregiving by Jonathan Evison which not gonna lie I totally picked it up on a whim! That pretty much wraps up the month of April! -Bea

Book Review: Vinegar Girl by Anne Tyler

My Rating: 3 out of 5 Stars! My Review: This book is a modern day retelling of  The Taming Of The Shrew by William Shakespeare! It is a part of the Hogarth Shakespeare Project! This was my first time reading Anne Tyler's work. I really enjoyed this retelling it was a witty, fresh take on a classic! The story ended leaving me wanting a little more which thankfully was delivered in the epilogue! Would I recommend it? Yes! It is a fun, light read, great story and characters! Description: Kate Battista feels stuck. How did she end up running house and home for her eccentric scientist father and uppity, pretty younger sister Bunny? What I Read / Listened to in January
